20-Apr-2008 (Sunday), Brunch served from 900am-1100am

What: Family brunch and bike ride. Bring moms and brothers and sisters if you like. Food will be pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, etc.

Where: Cherry Creek State Park, brunch at 12 Mile House Picnic Area. See map.

Directions: If you drive in, get to Lake View Road and you’ll drive to 12 Mile Picnic Area – 2.7 miles from west park entrance, or about 1 mile from east park entrance. If you ride in, there is a bike path that parallels Lake View Road. From the west side, you can park at Village Greens park at Union Ave and Dayton St and ride your bikes to the 12 Mile House picnic area. If Village Greens is closed, you can park at Cherry Creek High School 2 blocks west. From the east side, you can park around Parker Road and Lehigh Ave. and ride in through the east entrance.

Circle Navigators: Please give your attendance forecast to the hosting Circle Navigator by the April Basecamp meeting to provide a more accurate count for forecasting food supply requirements.

Fees: [fees may change] $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids for brunch (small bills, please). A great deal for all you can eat and drink. Park entrance fee is $7 if you drive in ($0 if you have a state parks pass). Better yet, park outside the state park at Cherry Creek High School, ride bikes in and get in free. Note: Fees subject to change.
