SPRING OUTING AT CAMP SHADY BROOK!

 

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, MAY 3-4, 2008

It’s Spring and The Adventure Guides Spring Outing is Here!

What: Adventure Guides Spring Outing at Camp Shady Brook!

When: 12 noon, May 3, 2008 through noon, May 4, 2008

Where: YMCA’s Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, Colorado

Why: To continue to have quality Father and Son bonding

Fee: No cost is too high – just $90 for a father & son; and a just $20 for an additional son. Think of the priceless memories that you and your boy(s) will carry for a lifetime! Click here to register

Registration: Registration is now available on the YMCA web site. Registration will be turned off at midnight Friday April 11, 2008. Get registered now!!! It is the same procedure as the Winter Outing, so ask if you have questions.

Bring: Warm and cool change of clothes (weather may vary greatly so be
prepared for rain), sleeping bags (we will be sleeping in bunks, no sheets), flashlights, snacks, toiletries, etc.

Food: Lunch & Dinner on May 3th and Breakfast on May 4th will be provided; lunch is on your own on May 4th.

Activities: Activities will begin after you arrive. There are new & improved
activities including Archery, Riflery, Fishing, Canoeing, Climbing Wall,
Fishing, Hiking, Exploring, and an encore performance of DodgeBall!

Directions: Follow U.S. Highway 285 west approximately 6 miles out of Conifer to the Junction of Route 126. Turn south (left) on Route 126. Continue on Route 126 through Pine and Buffalo Creek to Deckers. At the stop sign in Deckers, make a hard right over the bridge onto South Y Camp Road, which is a dirt road. Continue on the dirt road for 2 miles into the camp parking lot. The approximate driving time is 1.5 hours from southwest Denver.
